Cant start the game

Hi,

Whenever i try to start the game, my laptop turns off by itself.
It started happening after i added the patch to my CPT folder.
I added the july patch first. the game stopped working. i added the aug patch. still not working.
my laptop just turns off. anybody know what the problem is?

when you added the august patch, did you need to overwrite the july patch? If not try removing the july patch and leave just the august patch in there

whene ever i try to start the game my pc just turn off.
I have tryed to play with the 11aug patch and with no patch at all and in both cases the pc turns off :S
what should i do to fix it?

I'm having the same problem, using that guide for editing my settings didnt work..

Or is there a setting you MUST set to a certain position for it not to shut down your comp .?

there is any other way to fix it maybe?

actually thats a incompatibility problem. you should try to shut down the most programs that you can.
go by "ctrl + alt + del", go to processes, and close whatever you dont need.
