I cant mature my weapons even though i press Shift+F8, how does it work actually? Can anyone explain clearly to me?

Hold the item with the pointer, them press Shift+F8.

also, you need to hit or be hit by monster lv within +/- 10 of yours. (critical for some some weapon, & blocked for shield)
